TENSION
For reference, work 14dc and 16 rows to measure 3 x 3cm or 1.2 x 1.2in using 1.25mm hook, or size required to obtain tension for the armchair.
MEASUREMENTS
The armchair measures approximately 5.5x4x5.5cm/ 2.2×1.6×2.2in,
The bed measures approximately 9.5x6x5cm / 3.7×2.4x2in,
The prison door measures approximately 5x8cm /2×3.1in.
PATTERN NOTES
Use stitch marker to mark beginning of rnds.
Unless stated otherwise, work into both loops of stitch.
Pieces in the round are worked in a continuous spiral.
Pieces in rows are worked from second ch from hook.
Change colour on last pull through of last stitch in previous colour.
Yarn listed with an * is already on the material list from a previous part. The amount will be sufficient to make the entire piece for parts together.
ARMCHAIR
With yarn A, 15ch.
Row 1: (RS) 1dc from second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 14dc.
Rows 2-23: 1ch, 14dc, turn.
Row 24: 1ch, dc2tog, 10dc, dc2tog, turn – 12dc.
Row 25: 1ch, dc2tog, 8dc, dc2tog, turn – 10dc.
After Row 25 do not turn, but 1dc in each st and row end around entire piece as foll:
Rnd 26: 25dc, 1dc on corner, 14dc, 1dc on cnr, 35dc – 76dc.
Rnd 27: Dc blo around.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Make another the same Row 1 – Rnd 26, place both pieces together WS facing each other dc around to close as foll:
Rnd 26: [23dc, 3dc on corner, 14dc, 3dc on corner] twice – 86dc.
Insert 3×4.5cm / 1.2×1.8in cardboard while you work and fill at one side of cardboard till halfway (from Row 13-Rnd 27) with fiber filling. Fasten off, leaving tail for sewing.
Seating
With yarn A, 15ch.
Row 1: (RS) 1dc from second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 14dc.
Rows 2-15: 1ch, 14dc, turn.
After Row 15 do not turn, but 1dc in each st and row end around entire piece as foll:
Rnd 16: 1ch, 15dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 14dc, 1dc in next corner, 15dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 14dc, 1dc in first ch of rnd – 62dc.
Rnd 17: Dc blo around.
Rnd 18-20: Dc around.
Fasten off and weave in end.
With yarn A, rep Row 1-Rnd 16.
Insert cardboard and close Seating by joining both parts with sl sts in all lps.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Pillow
Work as for Seating, use fiber filling instead of inserting cardboard.
Sides
Make two
With yarn A, 15ch.
Row 1: (WS) 1dc from second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 14dc.
Rows 2-12: 1ch, 14dc, turn.
After Row 12 do not turn, but 1dc in each st and row end around entire piece as foll:
Rnd 13: 1ch, 12dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 14dc, 1dc in next corner, 12dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 14dc, 1dc in first ch of rnd – 56dc.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Make another the same, place both pieces together WS facing each other slst around in all lps to close insert 3,5×2,5cm / 1.4x1in cardboard while you work. Fasten off, leaving tail for sewing.
Armrest
Make two
With yarn X, make an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: 8dc in ring – 8dc.
Rnd 2: 2dc in each st around, turn – 16dc.
Row 3: 1ch, 14dc blo, leave rem sts unworked – 14dc.
Rows 4-21: 1ch, 14dc, turn.
Fasten off, leaving tail to sew to Side.
Make another the same and sew to other Side.
Assembly
Sew Sides and Back to Seating, taking picture as guide.
BED
Bottom
With yarn B, 24ch.
Row 1: (RS) 1dc in second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 23dc.
Rows 2-40: 1ch, 23dc, turn.
After Row 40 do not turn, but 1dc in each st and row end around entire piece as foll:
Rnd 41: 1ch, 40dc, 1dc on corner, 23dc, 1dc on corner, 40dc, 1 dc on corner, 23dc, 1dc in first ch – 130dc.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Make another the same Rows 1 – Round 41, but do not fasten off.
Sl st the two parts with WS together, inserting 5x8cm / 2×3.1in cardboard while you work.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Sides
Make two
With yarn B, 39ch.
Row 1: (RS) 1dc in second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 38dc.
Rows 2-4: 1ch, 38dc, turn.
After Row 4 do not turn, but 1dc in each st and row end around entire piece as foll:
Rnd 5: 1ch, 4dc, 1dc on corner, 38dc, 1dc on corner, 4dc, 1 dc on corner, 38dc, 1dc in first ch – 88dc.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Make another the same Rows 1 – Round 5, but do not fasten off.
Sl st the two parts with WS together, inserting 8x1cm / 3.1×0.4in cardboard while you work.
Fasten off, leaving tail to sew to Bottom.
Headboard
With yarn B, 21ch.
Row 1: (RS) 1dc in second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 20dc.
Rows 2-15: 1ch, 20dc, turn.
After Row 15 do not turn, but 1dc in each st and row end around entire piece as foll:
Rnd 16: 1ch, 15dc, 1dc on corner, 20dc, 1dc on corner, 15dc, 1 dc on corner, 20dc, 1dc in first ch – 74dc.

Make another the same Rows 1 – Round 16, but do not fasten off.
Sl st the two parts with WS together, inserting 4.5x3cm / 1.8×1.2in cardboard while you work.
Fasten off, leaving tail to sew to Bottom and Sides.
Footboard
With yarn B, 24ch.
Row 1: (RS) 1dc in second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 23dc.
Rows 2-9: 1ch, 23dc, turn.

Make two
With yarn B, make an adjustable ring.

Fasten off, leaving tail to sew to Headboard and Sides.
With yarn B, make an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: 6dc in ring – 6dc.
Rnd 2: 2dc in each st around – 12dc.
Rnds 3&4: Dc around.
Rnd 5: Dc2tog around – 6dc.
Fasten off, leaving tail to sew to Legs.Fill as you go.
MATTRESS
Bottom
With bridal white 24ch.
Work as for Bed Bottom Rows 1 – Round 41.
Rnd 42: Dc blo around.
Rnds 43-46: Dc around.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Top
With bridal white 24ch.
Work as for Bottom Rows 1 – Round 24.
Sl st the two parts with WS together, fill with fiber filling while you work.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Blanket
With bridal white make an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: 3ch (counts as tr), 1tr, 1ch, [3tr, 1ch] three times, 1tr, slst in first tr.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Join yarn X to any ch-sp with slst.
Rnd 2: 3ch (counts as tr), (1tr, 1ch, 2tr) in same ch-sp, 3tr, [(2tr, 1ch, 2tr) in next ch-sp] three times, 3tr, slst in first tr.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Make 23 granny squares in total with second color in yarn D, E, and F.
Finishing: sew or slst 5 squares on a row, 4 rows and on last row 3 squares missing one square on each side
Pillow
With yarn D, 13ch.
Row 1: (WS) 1dc in second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 12dc.
Rows 2-8: 1ch, 12dc, turn.
After Row 8 do not turn, but 1dc in each st and row end around entire piece as foll:
Rnd 9: 1ch, 8dc, 1dc on corner, 12dc, 1dc on corner, 8dc, 1 dc on corner, 12dc, 1dc in first ch – 44dc.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Make another the same Rows 1 – Round 9, but do not fasten off.
Sl st the two parts with WS together, fill with toy filling while you work.

Side
Make two
With yarn E, 56ch.
Row 1: 1dc in second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 55dc.
Rows 2 & 3: 1ch, 55dc, turn.
Fold piece in half lengthways and insert 6cm / 2.4in wire.
Row 4: 1ch, 1sl st in each st across, working through both sts of Rows 3 & 1 to join piece tog – 35slsts.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Bars
Make seven
With yarn Coffee Brown, start with a tail, 12ch.
Row 1: 1dc in second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 11dc.
Rows 2 & 3: 1ch, 11dc, turn.
Fold piece in half lengthways and insert 2.5cm / 1in wire.
Row 4: 1ch, 1sl st in each st across, working through both sts of Rows 3 & 1 to join piece tog – 11slsts.
Fasten off, leaving tail to sew to both Sides.
Sew top bar of ladder to side of 2nd floor. The ladder will give support to the floor.
LAMP
Stand
With yarn G, make an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: 9dc in ring – 9dc.
Rnd 2: Slst in first dc, 2ch (counts as tr), tr in same st, 2tr in each st around – 18tr.
Rnd 3: Slst in first tr, 2ch (counts as tr), tr in same tr, 2tr in each tr around – 36tr.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Make another the same Rows 1 – Round 3, but do not fasten off.
Sl st the two parts with WS together, inserting cardboard of 2.2cm/0.9in diameter as you go.
Start with a tail to sew to Stand.
With yarn G, 29ch.
Row 1: 1dc in second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 28dc.
Rows 2 & 3: 1ch, 28dc, turn.
Fold piece in half lengthways and insert 6cm/2.4in wire.
Row 4: 1ch, 1sl st in each st across, working through both sts of Rows 3 & 1 to join piece tog – 28slsts.
Fasten off, leaving tail to sew to Lampshade.
Lampshade
With yarn H, make an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: 8dc in ring – 8dc.
