At times when the world around you is hectic and ever changing, it is great to have a corner in the house that has a calm, serene vibrance. Sometimes a place where time stands still is the key to relax
MATERIALS
● Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat, 100% cotton, 25g/140m/153yds:
Yarn A: Silver 618 x 1 ball
Yarn B: Topaz 179 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Ultramarine 124 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Charcoal 393 x 1 ball
● 1.25mm hook
● Cardboard, 1.3mm thick
● 2x Glass-headed pins
● Small amount of toy filling
● white thread
● Duct tape
● Craft knife
TENSION
Work 14dc and 15 rows to measure 3 x 3cm or 1¼ x 1¼in using 1.25mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
MEASUREMENTS
The TV set measures approximately 5 x 4 x 6cm/ 2 x 1½ x 2¼in
PATTERN NOTES
Use stitch marker to mark beginning of rnds.
Unless stated otherwise, work into both loops of stitch.
Pieces in the round are worked in a continuous spiral.
Pieces in rows are worked from second ch from hook.
Change colour on last pull through of last stitch in previous colour.
Prepare cardboard and cut out on the lines and cut half through & fold on the dotted lines:

Back
With yarn A, 21ch.
Row 1: (RS) 1dc from second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 20dc.
Rows 2-15: 1ch, 20dc, turn.
Dc around as folls:
Rnd 16: 1ch, 15dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 20dc, 1dc in next corner, 15dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 20dc, 1dc in first ch of rnd – 74dc.
Rnd 17: Dc blo around.
Rnd 18-27: Dc around.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Front
With yarn B, work as for Back Rows 1-15.
Change to yarn A.
Dc around as folls:
Rnd 16: 1ch, 15dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 20dc, 1dc in next corner, 15dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 20dc, 1dc in first ch of rnd – 74dc.
Rnd 17: Dc around.
Insert card board I and join Back and Front with sl st using all loops.
Screen
With yarn C, 15ch.
Row 1: (RS) 1dc from second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 14dc.
Rows 2-13: 1ch, 14dc, turn.
Change to yarn D.
Dc around as folls:
Rnd 14: 1ch, 13dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 14dc, 1dc in next corner, 13dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 14dc, 1dc in first ch of rnd – 58dc.
Fasten off, leaving long tail of yarn A to sew to left side of Front and weave in end of yarn C.
Fill lightly with fiber filling as you work.
TV button
With yarn D, make an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: 8dc in ring – 8dc.
Fasten off leaving tail for sewing. Sew a stripe halfway the button with white sewing thread.
TABLE
Top
With yarn B, 17ch.
Row 1: (WS) 1dc from second ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn – 16dc.
Rows 2-8: 1ch, 16dc, turn.
Dc around as folls:
Rnd 9: 1ch, 8dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 16dc, 1dc in next corner, 8dc on each row end, 1dc on corner, 16dc, 1dc in first ch of rnd – 52dc.
Rnd 10: *8dc, 3dc in next st, 16dc, 3dc in next st, rep from * – 60dc.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Make another the same, place both pieces together WS facing each other and sl st around in all lps to close.
Insert cardboard II while you work. Fasten off, leaving tail for sewing.
Table legs
Make four
Stuff firmly as you work.
With yarn A make adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: 8dc in ring – 8dc.
Rnd 2: Dc blo around.
Rnd 3: Dc around.
Change to yarn B.
Rnd 4: Dc around.
Rnd 5: [2dc in next st, 3dc] twice – 10dc.
Rnds 6-9: Dc around.
Fasten off leaving tail of yarn B for sewing.
ASSEMBLY
Sew Table Legs on each corner of Table Top.
Insert glass-headed pins in TV.
Sew TV button on right side of TV Front.
Place TV on top op table.
